Do You Feel There is No Hope

In your times of deep despair,
Do you feel there is no hope?
As the darkness closes in on you,
Do you feel you cannot cope?
As you struggle on through every trial,
Do you say "When will it end"?
As you cry yourself to sleep at night,
Do you wish you had a friend?
When your body's racked with aches and pains,
Do you feel you are alone?
When you think about the future,
Do you fear the great unknown?
There is someone who really cares,
And He hears your every cry.
His arms are reaching out to you,
And on Him you can rely.
When things close in around you,
He sees your fear and doubt -
He wants to hold you in His arms,
And He will never cast you out.
As you stumble through the darkness,
He will be your guiding light.
He wants to wipe away your tears,
For you are precious in His sight.
Reach out right now to Jesus,
And let Him take complete control -
He'll take that heavy burden,
And He'll touch and make you whole.

Christmas is a season
Of hope and joy and love.
It is the time that Jesus Christ
Descended from above.
The snowflakes fly and wind is chill;
Tree lights twinkle and shine.
The carols are sung and all on earth
Await a grace divine.
A special star shines in the sky,
Brighter than either moon or sun -
Leading us to Bethlehem
To see God's will be done.
And Jesus shines brighter than anything;
He's the brightest light of all.
He came to earth to save our souls
And help us when we fall.
At Christmas time we celebrate
Our Saviour Jesus' birth.
I'm certainly glad that God sent him
as a baby to this earth.

Thought I'd repeat this one as I think it's really appropriate no matter what the season is, or the reason. Lately I've seen posts elsewhere in need of friendly inspiration, hugs, or just even a listening ear. I like what this has to say and am repeating it for those who may have missed it the first time around.
Friendships:
Each person is capable of creating and maintaining friendships.
Maintaining those friendships; however, is not an easy task.
Takes dedication and patience; love and understanding.
Let's all be friends together and enjoy this opportunity to learn about each other.
