Grand Opening is a short time away and I wanted to address a few things before we open our doors.
First: I've seen a couple groups change hands due to lack of interest or life choices. Several of these groups suffered at the hands of inexperienced or ill-chosen new Management. First group was disabled because of sharing illegal programs. The original owner strictly discouraged this. Another group is slowly being destroyed and several members have already left to start their own similar group. A third group has been hacked and everything deleted and hate crimes being posted all over. So far, the group has been reported but nothing has been done as of this writing.
Other groups have survived when changing hands. Some of these even became better.
Everyone here will be part of the Management team. There will be NO members here. It may not state manager by your name but that doesn't lesson the position any. You will all be allowed your input and contributions. From day 1 you will be in the running for a part owner position should we decide to leave the group in someone else's hands.
Second: There will be no posting requirements at first. Let's hope we won't need to require one later. Also this is an unmoderated group and will remain so unless fighting occurs or drama starts. Then it will be moderated for 30 days from the first offense. Second time it happens it will moderated for 3 months.
Banning: There will be absolutely NO member banning. This takes valuable storage away from those members. Troublesome members will have their membership cancelled instead. If, however, they return to cause more problems then other punishment will be administered including a limited ban, which I hope I never have to do. If I do initiate a ban, that ban will only be for no more then 30 days and no less than 2 weeks.
These guidelines posted will change as needed or as suggested by other members...
PC. Help: If you are in need of help with your PC. We do have a tech on board who is here strictly for that purpose. NewSoul/Steve will be more than willing to help out. He won't be able to be here as often as he would like so if there's a dire need, I will make sure he gets the message.
Openings: When we have openings for promotions or for other specific duties, we will make an announcement and will accept the first 3 applicants. Currently, we are looking for assistants, so if you're interested, please reply to this message.
Other: We have a separate promotion group at your disposal for advertising your groups. We have a separate groups for Computer Resources to help get your PC is perfect working order, and to share some tips found in many sources. These groups are ONLY available upon request. If you wish to get a link to these 2 groups you must make a request for an invitation.
Finally: I want to thank all of you who have decided to join our family. We hope you will offer as many suggestions as possible to keep us busy. We also hope you will start your own games, activities, and such. All we ask is to keep all activities G-Rated and please only use artists which you have permission to use or that are general permission. This group will be seeking more permissions but will not restrict you to only those we have permission for.
