In regards to copyrights:
If a tag is found to be in violation of copyrights, it will be moved into our "©opyright mistake" board and to our groups "photobucket account" (coming soon), and the original post deleted with an explanation.
Once the tag has been fixed (if a minor infraction (missing copyright info, misspelled artist info, TOU not followed), you may repost the tag. (If the artist is a "no no" artist, the tag will be placed on our "Artist no no list" - coming soon)
**Pay to use Artists will be handled differently.
All pay to use tags will remain on their original post/board for 48 hours so member can fix or delete their own post. After which management will delete with info on how to purchase, etc.
1. No license # on tag (CILM, AMI, MPT, MTA, Individual Artists)
Member will be asked if a license has been purchased and to please include number if answer is yes. (otherwise tag will be deleted with a statement that in order to use tag you must purchase a license)
2. Pay artist that doesn't require license # -
A statement either on tag or under tag must state "used with licensed or paid permission to identify licensed artwork. exception: Craig Wentworth - white signature tag must be visible on the tag. Tag will be deleted without proper identifying marks or statement of paid purchase.
**If the artist is unknown, the tag will be moved to our image research board (coming soon) and will remain there until proper © info can be found. You will be asked not to use the image/tag until permission has been obtained and/or artist located. These will not be removed unless the artist turns out to be a no no or pay to use, at which time they will be moved to a more appropriate board, with the words SAMPLE added across the image.
Written work: This is in regard to poetry, literary works and other written works. If you are the original writer you must add the copyright info as follows: © (year of publication, year written) Your legal name. Copyright is INVALID if a pen name that is not registered is used. For example: I am legally allowed to use © Queenie, © LadyJane Dezigns as these are registered with the copyright office as part of a home business I once owned.
